Must say a big thank you to the Press department of University College Falmouth. Today they released a press release for my inclusion of Storyscape in this years BIMA Awards, which take place next week. It’s great to see that they are promoting ex-student projects. Hopefully this will get more people reading about the Storyscape – which can’t be a bad thing!

In the run up to this years BIMA awards I have decided to update the content featured on my Storyscape site. This means sourcing material, adapting for radio, recruiting actors, recording voices, mixing and uploading to site! Lots to be getting on with! Really happy to say that I had a letter through the post this weekend which said that my nomination for this years BIMA Awards had been accepted. I am now officially on the shortlist for the Student Award. I’m one of six finalists in my catagory! Unfortunately it looks as if I will be unable to make the event due to work commitments, I’m gonna see if I can move things about so I can go! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I was recommended at the end of 2010 academic year to put my Storyscape website into this years BIMA Awards ( British Interactive Media Association). I have been keeping my eye on their site and was pleased to see that they are now open for entries. Fortunately they also have a student section which is where I have entered my project. Again I’m keeping my fingers crossed, you can only try!
